The Flipkart app has had its design refreshed with a more streamlined user interface, making it easier to scroll through the app even for new users. Apart from the few visible visual changes, the app has also introduced a dedicated grocery section. Here’s a look at what’s changed on Flipkart.

The new Flipkart app now follows a simple design language and makes important and frequently used sections easily accessible. the the bottom now houses the Home, Categories, Notifications, Account, and Cart sections to easily access it without having to visit the old, now defunct hamburger menu.
There is also a Discover section just below the search bar allowing users to access options like SuperCoins, Stores, Flipkart Feeds, Offer Zone, etc. directly from the home page.
Then the highlight is the self-contained grocery store placed at the very top. This tab will be available on 10,000 PINs in India and can be used to buy groceries in around 1,800 cities.

In addition, the “My Orders” tab will now be present in the Account section, easily accessible through the bottom part of the application. The new Flipkart app will help people easily switch between different categories and, more importantly, won’t create any confusion.
