To undertake planned track maintenance work at the Yellow Line’s Rajiv Chowk metro station, Sunday morning train services on this corridor will be briefly restricted, officials said today.
Rail services will be suspended between Kashmere Gate and Rajiv Chowk stations from the start of services until 6:30 a.m.
Therefore, three metro stations namely Chandni Chowk, Chawri Bazar and New Delhi will be closed until train services resume in the section, i.e. until 6.30 a.m., they said. .
The Yellow Line connects Samyapur Badli in Delhi to HUDA city center in Gurgaon.
Metro services will be available between Rajiv Chowk and Kashmere Gate via the Purple Line. Passengers can change trains at Central Secretariat and Mandi House and reach Kashmir Gate via Violet Line, DMRC said.
In the rest of the sections of the Yellow Line, i.e. from Samaypur Badli to Kashmir Gate and from Rajiv Chowk to HUDA Downtown, train services will continue to remain available on the routine schedule. Sunday during that time, officials said.
